As a new Prairieland CSA shareholder, you will receive a cookbook that includes recipes for using your produce, tips for seasonal eating, and basic information about community supported agriculture. In the past we have used the Madison Area CSA Coalition Cookbook, From Asparagus to Zucchini. At the request of our farmers, in 2004 we began using Recipes from America's Small Farms: Fresh Ideas for the Season's Bounty by Joanne Hayes. Unlike some cookbooks, this one contains recipes for produce items that are available at the same point in the season for Illinois-based Community Supported Agriculture programs, If you are a returning shareholder and would like to purchase this book , you can order it with your share renewal. If the season is already in progress, please email your cookbook request.
